This double-sided, thick cardstock Deorbit Preparations checklist page (8 x 11") was carried aboard Space Shuttle Discovery during its fourth flight, STS-51D. Launched on 12 April 1985, the mission completed 110 orbits around the Earth, traveling an incredible 2,889,785 miles. After almost 7 days in space, the shuttle safely returned to Earth on 19 April 1985. This page was along for the ride, and was used by Bobko during the deorbit phase of the mission.
This particular page is an annotated Deorbit Procedures Timeline summary. One of the tasks is annotated with the name Rhea [Seddon], along with some handwritten notes about the RCS and OMS engines (all in Bobko's handwriting).
The page comes straight from Bobko's flown Deorbit Prep Checklist, which he flight-certified on the front cover in bold black ink: "Flown and used by me on STS-51D, Karol 'Bo' Bobko." (see attached images)
