This item is unique in that it flew on three very different spacecraft:  It launched from Baikonur on May 5 1996 on Progress M-31, an unmanned supply vehicle; it was transferred aboard the Mir space station, where it remained for 140 days (7 May - 24 Sep 1996); and it was returned to earth on 26 September 1996 by Shannon Lucid aboard Space Shuttle Atlantis (STS-79).
