Working copy of an early Shuttle Console Manual for the Auxiliary Power Unit Subsystem.   This manual convers all aspects of the APU system in detail.  This copy would have been kept on-console during testing and launch for troubleshooting by engineers in the event of a technical issue.  An exceptional example of an early console manual from an engineer in the program.  Condition is very good for age. All interior pages bright and clean.
 
This console manual comes from the collection of Stan Barauskas, CSM Propulsion Test and Checkout engineer for Apollo, ASTP, and Skylab.  Barauskas later went on to work on Shuttle, focusing his efforts on the APU system.
