Up for sale is a very rare Space Shuttle Systems Handbook (SSSH) in the original binder, obtained from a worker at Johnson Space Center.
This is the complete Revision E (DCN-4) from October 28, 1994. It contains updated schematics for all three volumes of the SSSH, totaling ~63 large fold-out schematics plus a number of tables.
The SSSH (or "Triple S H") was the "Bible" of Shuttle engineers and technicians. It contained systems level operational schematics for all of the Space Shuttle systems. These drawings wwere prepared by shuttle flight controllers in the Mission Operations Directorate, Systems Division.
This massive document—which in its entirety ran thousands of pages—was intended to provide flight controllers and flight crews with reference materials on Shuttle systems operations during flight and simulation operations. Since this book reflected the current state of the vehicle's design configuration, it was frequently consulted by engineers and systems operators throughout the design, testing, and troubleshooting phases.
Space Shuttle Systems Handbooks are extremely rare, as most were destroyed at the end of the program. This is the only complete Revision volume I've ever come across, so don't miss out!
